What To Expect
The BSP development process is built on collaboration. We do not write a plan in isolation and hand it over. We work alongside the individual, their family, and their support team from the beginning, because a plan that everyone understands and agrees on is far more likely to be implemented consistently and effectively.

SJH develops the plan and trains the team on how to use it. Implementation happens through the families, caregivers, and support staff who are present in the individual's life every day. Our role is to make sure those people feel informed, prepared, and confident before we step back.

Every plan is individualized. The strategies, goals, and data systems we develop are specific to the person, their environments, and the people supporting them. You can expect a plan that is practical enough to actually use, and flexible enough to grow and change as the individual does.

Why This Matters
A behavior support plan is a roadmap for helping someone live a better, fuller life. When built correctly, a BSP shifts the focus from managing behavior to understanding the person behind it, teaching new skills, removing barriers, and creating environments where people can genuinely thrive. Ongoing data collection ensures the plan remains responsive to real progress rather than assumptions, so decisions are always grounded in what is actually happening for the individual.
