What To Expect
SJH provides the assessment, programming, and training that makes skill building possible. The people who implement that programming every day are the families, caregivers, and support teams who are present in the individual's life across all settings. Our role is to equip those people with the tools, strategies, and confidence to carry the work forward consistently and effectively.

Skill building takes time and requires a team that is informed, aligned, and supported. We work closely with everyone involved to ensure that skills learned in one setting are being reinforced across all environments, and that the people doing that reinforcement feel prepared to do it well.

Why This Matters
Every skill an individual builds opens a door. The ability to communicate a need, prepare a meal, navigate a community, or hold a job represents a step toward a life with greater choice, greater independence, and greater dignity. Those gains belong entirely to the individual and go with them everywhere. Our job is to build the plan and train the team. Their job is to make it happen every single day. When both sides of that partnership are strong, real progress follows.
